Entry fees alone won't cut it, there's a ton of expenses prior to the race.

1,000,000 / 25,000 = 40 entries. I doubt we'd get 20 boats at $10,000 each plus the expense of running the race.

Entry fees were going to be set aside to pay the purse.

Serious offshore! I'd love to be involved in something like that. It's way outa my league. My lil boat only holds a hundred gals. I couldn't afford the fuel bill.

Mark and I will do it in the 24' Skater if someone sponsors us for it.

Maybe Scott and I could bring the "Little Yellow Cat" out of retirement for this one. A 25 Motion against a 24 Skater...do I hear any sponsors?

I wouldnt have any predestoned stops though, just run like crazy! Ill do it either which way though.

wat about something shorter&cheaper to start back into the offshore races like miami to one of the island and back...then once it catches on can go larger races....that would be an awesome run
