I will never forget the comfort that Jim offered the day Jack Stoerrle died in Daytona three years ago. We were all suffering and so totally unable to comprehend the tragedy. Jim was there immediately to see to us and help us all get through it together. I am so grateful to him for his wisdom and spiritual guidance and his friendship. He is a truly great man, and all racers and non-racers alike are better people for knowing him.

My favorite from Jim was: "God, I am not looking for so much good luck for me, but less good luck for the other guys racing with me"... (or something to that effect)
Yes Jim is a GREAT person and I am proud to call him a friend.

Marc,
Outstanding post.
Like many, I too look for Jim for a moment before every race. Those Moments mean a lot to me, and Jim being there at each race is more comforting than he may ever know.
Thanks Jim,
Gordo

Thanks Jim!
We are very lucky to have you by our side.
Come see the Awesome boat before next race. The crash test dummies may need a little assistance from you and the man upstairs.
Thanks again,
Matt

When the chips are down what a good feeling to have Jim in Your corner. When Randy had his accident in Biloxi,he was there for all and when Justin was injured in Texas he was one of the first to the hospital. He is still there for the family and friends to help all understand "WHY" I could not imagine him not being in all of are corners!!

Jim is our moment of sanity in a sport that has none. Ron and I make sure Jim and God have their arms around us before we jump into insanity. Thanks Jim for the strength that we need! You are the best!

Everyone can help in the effort to get Jim to each race to give the support and comfort he's famous for. Each month as you're writing checks for those dreaded bills write a check to Jim as well. Or, if you use a web-based bill paying system, set up an entry for RPM and each month a specified amount will be automatically sent to Jim. What could be simpler? Here's the address:
