Run it by John Pompi at Marine Performance. I'd trust him.

Mike,

I think I may want to get some input 1st. The idea can be totally off the wall and everyone can have a good laugh, or maybe it's something I could get a little royalty for?

I think of a recent story of how a guy came up with the simpliest idea for snow plowing. He connected a relay to the reverse lights which then in turn raised the plow for you. It ended up saving a ton of time in plowing which meant big dollar savings in OT for townships.
He told this idea to someone and they blew him off.
6 months later he finds the same guy at a trade show selling the relay he designed.
The guy ended up sueing of course but may have only ended up with $19,000. I don't recall if that was before or after the lawyers fees. For him it wasn't about the money. He just wanted his name attached to the idea and that he came up with it. That much he did accomplish through the courts...

For what its worth, I was kidding in my previous post. That's what the "sarcasm" and "smiley faces" were for.

Good luck with the idea though..........just remember us little people.

Thumbs up Re: Who Can I trust....

Thanks everyone.

A bit late to make any calls tonight, but I think I have someone now in mind.....

Once again, this wasn't for a fiberglass piece which I am sure now Tony P would be capable of...

This was something completely different.

Thanks again!
