If you're looking for something to do the weekend of July 20-23, come on to Augusta Georgia and take in the Augusta Southern Nationals Drag Boat Race!
Billed as the "World's Richest Drag Boat Race", the Augusta Southern Nationals Drag Boat Race will take place on the Savannah River in Augusta starting Thursday with the Patron's Party, open to those who have purchased Patron's Badges. Racing will take place all weekend starting at approximately 9 am, weather permitting. Friday night is the "Night of Fire" where some of the drag boats fire up their engines for a fantastic display.
