How can somebody like Stan Ware be passed over?
The guy was racing tunnel boats back before a lot of the current racers were out of diapers, not to mention his many rides in the Popeye boats of Al Copeland and then his own Popeye's team.
He gets my vote.

After some careful thought.....I would have to say Bobby Moore.
He was the first throttleman ever and he continued racing up into the recent era.
I think even Brownie said that Bobby had a gazillion wins with all kinds of drivers.
