Rudy Ramos (raysoncraft) passed away
Last week Rudy passed away.
I met him last year at Verns shop. I spent the whole day talking to him about hull design and what works and what does not.
Amazing person.

Rudy Ramos was one of my heroes back in the 60's. His Rayson Craft boats were the boats to beat, especially in the long distance races, the 500 milers and the 9 hour races.
His own race boats had everything from Louie Unser Fords to Allison aircraft engines.....and they worked for the whole race too!!.
Rest in peace Rudy.
