Default Steve "OSO" Move my thread

I have a thread called "Rules 2006" that was placed in the OSS section. It was in the original Racers section before the split.

Can you move it to this section and unlock it? The thread was about all rule makers not just theirs.

Thanks,
pat W

Pat

that thread is not locked. I just asked you to stop pushing an issue that will not be resolved on here. Why do you insist on pushing it?

Why is it so difficult to understand that the teams elect to run Merc products? No one is forcing them on us.

I requested this thread to move because after 35 posts from me and no answers to the questions I posted I feel it is buried in an inactive zone. Like I said before this thread has nothing to do with OSS or ORL or SBI/APBA , just rules in general.

These rules are effecting my company and I want to know why they were put into place in the first place. If you can't post a reason for the rules then elect a rep that will justify the rules in public.

Bruce:

I didnt think the thread was a big deal, Pat W is obviously very knowledgable and very involved, I think he should have a platform even if you don't agree, maybe others are learning something. Not everything written about here gets "worked out"

Guys...its not that I dont agree. Its just that no one is responding or giving him the answers to his questions. I just think he should try another avenue.

thats all.

Bruce, you are correct too and Shifter should write a letter outlinning his company, plan and reasons he feels his drives should be allowed in OSS and SBI/APBA. However this website is highly read and I can see Shifter wanting to discuss this issue here too. If they allow his drives and then nobody uses them then there is the answer...but....if people do use them and find them to be better than the other company's drive then I see how racers could win and so could non-racer boaters.
