I recieved a call from the Safety Harbor, Fl (Pinellas) recreation dept who is holding a Family boating day on April 14. They would like a Race Boat at the event. This is a teams chance to promote offshore and their team sponsors. Our boats are accross the state or we would take advantage of the publicity.

Hi Marc my name is Andrew Wilson and i'm a recreation leader for the City of Safety Harbor. I'm in charge of an event we have called Boat day on April 14th. Its held at the Safety Harbor Marina in conjuction with our annual Kayak Races. The idea behind the event is for kids and families to see up close some boats they might not normally see and learn a little about them too. Last year we had a police boat, Florida Fish and Wildlife, as well as a sailboat. this year I wanted to add a race boat and was wondering if you or anyone you know could bring such a boat to the event. Last year for the Coast Gaurd Safety Summit they wanted us to do a water demo with the boat....but my drives were in Ft. Luaderdale....If the C.G. approves it would you be interested in doing a demo togeter...

Last year was the first time I was in Palm Harbor....and they had a hudge turn out at the beach....

I will know on Tues. if I get the OK from D.C. which they said they don't see a problem at all with it but must be signed off by legal....

Let me know...maybe we can get a few race boats there and do a cool demo...

Hey guys...we got the OK to attend this even with the Coast Guard so we will be there with the Dragon....is anyone else going to show...I am talking to the local C.G. on letting us put on a demo with the race boats....we will be also having tables and banners set up for the You're In Command area with free give outs....if your interested e-mail me or call..
I will need to now how many boats would be in the demo...
