Attention Racers & Race Fans
I know it’s not offshore but it’s still a boat race, but what we have happening the weekend of April 6-8 is the 3rd Annual “Race for the Kids” Hydroplane race in Lake Wales Florida featuring the US Title Series Pro Outboard benefiting the Florida Lions Camp, a facility for children and young adults with varying abilities. (501c) Testing is all day Friday 6th, Saturday the 7th racing begins at 11AM and Sunday the 8th at 1PM. Also on Saturday there will be the inaugural “Run for the Kids” Poker Run & Lions Camp Walk-a-thon.
The camp operates solely through donations and fundraisers to provide services for our campers.
