I know Old Skater known as Spiderman was sold but do anyone knows the update of that boat? Will that be in the race? And do anyone has the pic of the boat?

I think it went over seas but do not hold me to that. I thought that was what I had heard.

The original Skater 399 that was Spiderman is the one that was just sold and is going to the P1 Circuit. The second Skater 399 Spiderman 2 was raced in 2005 first with Mark Kowalski and me and then sold to Scot Conrad and Ken Bowen and it's now owned by Bil McComb racing as Joe Boxer. The third Skater 399 is owned by Nigel Hook (Lucas Oil)and rumor has it that it too is being shipped overseas to race in P1 with Nigel and Chris Witty. Forth Skater 399 is being built now.

Yup, Spiderman 1, was sold to a young Italian couple to be raced overseas. I was at Skater while they were there to purchase the boat.

Lots of talk about Skaters going here there and everywhere. Well to clear things up, the original 'Spiderman' Skater has been bought by an Italian called Max Ferrari (no relation to the cars) and it is scheduled to race in the Powerboat P1 series this year. Bill McComb still owns the ex-Spiderman #2 (now Joe Boxer). There is a new Skater vee hull being built for an Englishman to race in P1. He's an ex-Class 1 racer. He hasn't gone public yet so I'll respect his wishes not to mention his name. As for me, I have other plans and they don't involve Nigel Hook and the Lucas Oil Skater.

That's ok...Wow, a lot of things changed with skater boats! Looks like Skater Boats have improved to become better boat racing!!!
