Default New Motor Almost Finished

Wally's Precision Racing Engines of Chester,VA is almost done with our race motor. Should be finished next week. They did a few pulls on the dyno to break in the cam. Here are some pics and a video of Aqua-Holic Racing blower motor. Click link below to see video of motor on the dyno:

Motor has not been dyno'd yet, only broke it. Motor is a pump gas, 89 octane motor. We should know some numbers this week. As far a weight of boat, use to be around 5000-5500lbs when it was Class A race only boat. Now we are reconfiguring boat for poker runs, family boating and racing... So boats weight is going way up!!! Once cockpit reconfiguring and rigging is done, we will get it weighed.

That number seems kinda high. I thought it was lower.
Hydra's last 32 foot vee "Full Custom" laminant came in at 2500 lbs. Longer yes, but much less freeboard and more exotic materials.
Don't ruin a good thing. Keep it "Full Race"

When engineering the layup, the end weight is taken into consideration. The lighter the hull the less of an impact.
The heavier you make it, the harder the impact.
Just something to consider.

I am not sure on the weight yet, when we are finished rigging her, we will get her weighed. We are trying to use the lightness materials we can. The boat had no seats, no floor, no gunale, no storage, no radio, etc... We are tying to keep it bare bones though, but we are adding some comfort features... like: SEATS! When the boat raced, it had no seats, you stood up. We are also adding a back seat, flooring, gunale padding and storage, and a stereo... not to carried away.

I told Wally’s that I need a motor that would last me a few race seasons with as little maintenance as possible, durable, dependable, with low cost over the long run, and that is what they have come up with.

Wally's Precision Racing Engines of Chester, VA builds some SERIOUS HARDWARE!!! They use to build Warren Johnson Pro Stock motor and several other heavy hitters! Simply put, they build horsepower that stays together!!! Pure horsepower and perfection was the secret to Wally’s success.

Tell them Johnny from Aqua-Holic Racing sent you
