There are not enough boats to support multiple sanctioning bodies. There are too many races;and many of the races are scheduled on top of one another. In order for the sport to really move forward, there needs to be only one sanctioning body with an eight to ten national race series with only a few classes(one Super Cat and one Super Vee)This circut should be supported by four to six race divisional series' in each region(NE,SE,C and W) for all of the other classes. The OPS/OPA working relationship could be the foundation for this;and it would be great to see OSS and OPS resolve thier differences and become one.St Clair is shaping up as the benchmark for what all races should be like for the rest of 2007 and beyond.
