Are you referring to the group of guys you call Boycotters? Arent they all involved now with the pro series or out of racing? Are these the guys that are holding up the sport because when they dont get there way they leave. Are they the one's you are referring to.

Back to that subject on hand....

OPA already has OSS racers appearing at some of there races....they either run with the Pro Series guys or bracket racing.....why make more class's

Its taking the same approach as OSS did in 04....4 class's with a higher boat count....

If OSS want's to be United....WHY can't they respect what OPA or SBI/APBA has offered...why should anybody go back to the table.....

Lets just see how 08 plays out the way it is now.....If this year the Pro Series grows and OPA grows and SBI/APBA grows...everything will fall right into place....

Lets all race were we want in 08.....and have fun.....

What healing......

No SBI/APBA teams are going to race in OSS other then some SV teams...

OPA is bracket racing and are not going to race in OSS...

The Pro Series guys are racing in OPA and SBI/APBA

I think its great that some OSS racers are racing in a number of Orgs...thats what this sport needs....

The OSS members that raced in Key West race there becasue of the compitition and they wanted to go there...

OSS has a Org that SBI/APBA and the Pro Series guys already have the same class's.....you are just delooting the class's buy having another Org.....

When OSS had 35 boats and they were just racing OSS....Thats one thing...but now a lot of them have moved on and are racing in these Orgs....

It maybe time to look....do you continue...or do you join in...
3 Orgs can not survive....we have seen it over the years....
and some OSS members have realised that and have made a move to better the sport....

I thought it was GREAT to see so many teams in KW and thought thank god the healing is happening. IT got real close and now has stalled again. I cant believe a race site producer wouldnt want more boats at there event.

I beg to differ. There were no snow jobs. Some of the OSS teams came to events because of the event. Case in point St Clair. Why do you think all those teams were there because it was an OPA event? Why did so many teams go to Sarasota? because it was an SBI event? Wake up. Have you ever even seen an OPA banner at any event we have run? Never will. We are here to support the teams and the sites. When we left Patchogue no one said that was a great OPA race. They said the Patchogue race was awsome. No reason why anyone would not feel welcome at one of our races. Sign up and race. Leave your banners at home.

Who would have thought, United We Race in Offshore could be as perplexing as peace in the middle east. If anything at all is positive about this, it's the fact that each persons point of view shows a passion for this sport of ours. I can't believe it but I stay awake some nights thinking about this dilemma. I guess by now the playboy bunnies I usually hang out with in my dreams are starting to miss me.

Sorry didnt have time to call, but in regards to St Clair, OSS teams did go thier to support OPA and Haggin in the " United we Race" dream. Thats when WHM left.

I personally dont give a Rats A$$ what the organization is that hold the keys, they dont pay my way! Yet I pay my way to attend and support the vendors. If the towns dont want a bigger show so be it. But United we race is bs, just call it COME RACE with US!
