I have no idea where to get it now, but a buddy of mine that worked at NAS northisland painting fighters gave me some military 'plastic polish' used for polishing/removing scratches from fighter canopies, it did AMAZING things with very little elbow grease, thats probably the stuff you need.

Hey waterboy! That fountain sounds like a great deal but dont let anybody fool you,it will take deep pockets to own that boat, especially if you plan to race it.listen to these guys they know what there talking about. If you want a canopied boat to just play with, look good and race once in awhile.I've got the boat for you! check out the 27 canopied Activator in the classified section.Theres no secrets about this one.I can tell you its life history. Its a great fun boat and will run 90mph with its stock 525.check it out.I might even consider that sunsation of yours in partial trade

5k sounds VERY cheap for canopy material.
i have never heard of anyone correcting scratches in a canopy with any success.
i wish my only problem with canopies were some scratches!LOL

as you can see i got the $hit end of that deal...1" shorter and a few less functioning brain cells!

Fighter Canopies are buffed out, using a kit called Micromesh, If I recall the highest grit is 15000. Of course there are specific limitations to all scratches and gouges, and the specific aircraft manufacturer will have these guidelines in their user manuals. Just the same the limits that are place on Turbine motors may not be quite the same, Big difference when flying vice boating.

Thats thru !!!!!!
