F16 Canopy Lid question
#1
e-mail this morning got me thinking about my weekend project -
Who has them and how are your lids mounted? I was going to attach mine this weekend but noticed the "lid" that I was given was not cut to the opening I have, it’s much bigger. Not a problem I can cut the lid down to fit, question is the mounting.
I have looked a couple different pictures online and it’s difficult to see who they are "set in" the opening. It seems that everyone has a "lip" around the canopy opening that the lid sits on. Is this right?

Roost is far from a concern from you or your boat, but safety is... My main worry is coming up to lap you than you looking over than trying to race with me, pushing your throttle forward past the point of were you motors run safely. Thus blowing your over-two-decades-old jalopy into a million little pieces that my fellow OPA racers and I will have to dodge like pieces of shrapnel from an Iraq IED.
Now I suggest you get off your computer and start working on your boat, like I said in another thread "This is not the SBI, It takes more than showing up to win". Otherwise, you are going to end all of your post with the phrase, “still sifting through the beach sand for pieces of my crankshaft.”
Good luck, Scotty...
