Red Bellies ran out of Port Stephens. They aren't running this year though. Last year, they ran a yellow (of course) 32 Victory rig.

The boat you mention sounds like Blade.

Hey Pete ,

It was the boat in your link above , yes it is a blade ,Im on hoildays and will correct my statement, it wasnt last week but the weekend before ,time sort of slips away .What is a Blade ? It was running in the nerang river on the Gold Coast.

Blades are made on the Gold Coast. The boat is based on a 32ft hull developed here a few years ago by Innovation Marine, which originally ran with triple Mercs. The boat has been modified for offshore work. There are now 2 of them racing here.

I got this from Jeff this morning!!!

Just thought I'd drop a line and let you know I made it to australia today. I'll keep you posted on the events of the week. today we worked on the boat, got the motors in and put the gimbals back together with the new Imco Gimbal rings that were dropped off at the LAX airport for me to bring. Tomorrow we should get the drives on and be on our way to Geelong around 2.
