I just want to get along with the guys. Talking Chit for such small money at this stage of the game is pretty infantile.

I apreciate the importance of what is starting to happen with this sport, and if nothng e,lse happens, we need to be able to conduct an interview at some point that is corect and respectful of the guys that we are on the water with. Overall, this is a lot like standing at the gates, and we will have to answer.

The main reason I want to get involved is for the comeraudery and the support of the guys that are making this happen.

You know I have parts on your boat, and I think you are a genuine racer. But, remember that this isn't NASCAR, and the way I see it we are in the developmental stages.

I am a young guy, and just like the guys that came before us, this is about getting out there and having a good time and developing this as an event. Without atmosphere, there can not be an event, and without guys owning and driving these boats there will not be a sport AT ALL.

If I can get along with you guys this next weekend, I am putting my chips in the hat, and I just want to make sure that I am doing my part. Overall, that is what matters. We aren't driving the big air time supercats, and that is what demands the air time. We, or at least if I get involved will just be the filler and, from what I have experienced in my time in the TV business, is what gets air time.

YOU need to appreciate the gift that you have been given and just get in on the ride.

I look forward to meeting the rest of the guys, and count my blessings that I might have the opportunity to share some water with you.
