Default Factory 2

Looking at this years schedule I can't believe its been 10 years since those great battles we had in F2 . Being a rookie
thinking we were it man did we get our butts handed to us and more then once. We would show up and hope to finish. Seventh place to us we celebrated like we won. San Fran the 10's going out the channel to the race corse we stuffed it twice, Ventura 8'-11' swells, St Clair 22 F2's at pin 1 at the same time. I think we did 17 races that year. It was as much about the Super cat teams as the Factory teams. Over the years with changing boats that get bigger & faster, I realized I'm still a rookie. If you were ever thinking I CAN DO THAT while watching a race then you need to try it at least once. There are some people who have boats but no resources and vice versa don't be afraid to start a thread asking for help you never know. I hope there are many new teams that are formed to race Offshore. Jo

23 F1's in turn one in KY, boats were turned lose to close to the turn after Gino jumped the start and the Fleet had to catch up, I think they turned us lose a quarter mile from the turn, I have never seen so many boats in one place in my life, man that was fun

Brian, come on get back in the game. Think SVL as the next big affordable spec class.

I always liked watching the F2 boats run. It's fun seeing how much fun you can have for a relatively cheap amount of cash. I thought about getting into F2 with my Step-dad 100's of times, but now that I'm finally out of school there isn't any damn money anywhere...

Ha... Joe, I'm not talking about "extra money" to dump into a race boat, I'm just talking about the money to get my butt in a seat and get out there. Up here in MI its tough just keeping a roof over your head, let alone trying to have any fun. I'm hoping my law career goes somewhere and helps fund my other passion - boat racing.
