Sharkey tried a few years back to get the SOB's back onto the scene. Lots of used 21 Superboat,Velocity,Challengers etc can be had for less than 20k. Quite a few less than 10k
I think RBR2328 has some Apache 21 molds.

Thanks....I email you a few times last year on your boats..in Nov I was looking to bring a rib to racing here to see if that boat would catch on here...pricing was to high no matter were I looked....so we went back to the 27 Activator...I always felt Ribs would do here in the US...cost is a differant story....
I think if I can get a hull around the 7 to 11k range...I can get this done under 35k....but I dont want a hull that is a hand full to drive...if it brings new racers to the sport, we dont need a bunch of guys getting hurt...
I have been following you boat for last 2 years...and the speeds you are getting out of your boat is imprssive...
Thanks for your info..

It's a shame our new boat is too long for your SVL class - it's 34' and would probably go quite well on single engine power like a 525 or Ilmor

The problem with RIBs is that the tubes (or sponsons) add to the cost - a Hard version of our race boat would be around $4,000 to $5,000 cheaper without the tubes, easier and faster to make and probably go a little faster!

Thats what we have found out also...the cost of the ribs were just to much to put togeter...
Are you guys running a single in the 34 or twins..
