Calling all racers to come out west! POPRA is once again offering tow money to any racers who want to come out to Havasu & race April 8-9th. As a benefit you can store your boat for a couple of weeks & then return for the biggest, best poker run “Dessert Storm” hosted by Bob Teague.

This year’s Lake Havasu Grand Prix event will be held in conjunction with the Lake Havasu boat show. There will be many top boat manufactures, including Skater & MTI to name a few. Race village will have food vendors, a beer garden, live music & a bikini contest. What more could you ask for?

This year race village will be set up at Windsor 4 (Windsor Beach-north end of the channel). It will be much different than years past, no more back 40’s. We also have the London Bridge top parking lot at the entrance to the bridge for display. However the cranes, VIP area & most of the boats will be displayed at Windsor 4 beach.

The racing will start on Friday with 2-30 mile heats & a 60 mile Grand Prix on Saturday for the Offshore race boats. New this year as well, there will be a 300 mile Enduro race to wrap up the weekend on Sunday.
