Damn! Now I want to dyno mine. I've got the cometic head gaskets and "new" style headers. What upgrades have been done since?

So, just a bump in compression and 640hp??? Everything else bone stock?

That's only a .25 increase; Probably from milling the heads.....

Agreed, that's why I asked. 640hp is a lot of hp out of a 502 considering the camshaft is pretty conservative.

Well, I wouldn't call the 525 camshaft "conservative"!

It's nothing more than a Crane 741 on a 112 LSA. Don't get me wrong its a good cam but its nothing radical.

The 525s have been dynoing at 540-560hp for years. Why all the sudden are they 600+? 600hp is tough to get out of a NA 502 with wet exhaust.

Not saying they don't but curious as to why the sudden increase??? I have to assume these higher dyno numbers are with dry dyno headers and no accessories. But that's still a good increase.

I'm aware of that, you seem to have over looked the humor.

Working with another engine builder right now on a 525 that should be finished this week, as soon as we get some number I will update you and let you all know. We will run it with a without the hot ECU and let u know how close they are. I tend to agree with Tyler, in the past we havent seen much change.
