It is with heavy hearts that we announce that the Porter family is leaving the sport of Offshore and Hydroplane racing. All of us here at TnT Racing are so appreciative for the faith and trust put in us by Ted Porter & Precision Performance Engineering to be able to go out and show the world that Formula Powerboats makes one of the best products on the market. Thank you so much for allowing our team to be a part of such a winning tradition, not only with the legacy of Formula Powerboats, but with your Unlimited Hydroplane teams as well. Wow that sucks I guess this economy is hitting all of us. With everything going on with Formula do u still have plans for the 2012 season???

I didn't see that coming. A sad day to hear this announcement by Ted Porter. I have always enjoyed watch the Formula Offshore Powerboats racing or at Poker Runs over the years and as a fan appreciated them sponsoring racing. That being said, I believe that Powerboat Manufactures should sponsor their boats, races, Poker Runs and boat shows. After all they are selling their boats and what better way to show case their workmanship and quality on some of the best proving grounds, which are race courses. Over the years I have watched Formula boats racing in Offshore and Unlimited Hydroplane Racing and have enjoyed every moment of them putting on a show. As a race fans I want to thank the Porter Family for everything that they have done for Offshore Powerboat Racing and Unlimited Hydroplane racing. Your contribution to the sport has been great and you will be sadly missed. All the best in your new endeavours and THANK YOU SO MUCH.
