Not to get into rules right now, but about your statement about the Fountain. The Fountain is actually faster now then it was when Doc had it is before u say something you should know your fact. Right now Mike is a rookie driver and has never raced before. He is getting better every race and will be up to speed soon. Put Doc and Brian in the boat right now and nothing would change they would be out front with our motor.

I have a question if the team you mentioned is such a cheater why didnt OPA or OSO tech them and find the issue if they have inspections SBI did, so what does that tell you.

What was the outcome when they were found to be cheating? Did they run with opa?

I really doubt that boat is faster now. That's a pretty bold statement knowing it was the fastest until the outer limits came out.

You need to be careful you are going somewhere I dont think you really want to go with bad Info. No one said anythink think about Orgin it was the racers that voted on the rules for SBI SV class thats what the class wanted. You can ask Randy and Jim they were both on the call no one was left out. We are still using Merc based motors for your info. and you are correct we are moving away from Merc and why not WHAT do they do for us. Another question for you What spec class in Offshore Racing do you know that uses Merc spec Motors let me help you with that NONE, you are living in the past. You say what you brung racing , so I guess when the SuperBoat cat class that is bigger now then it ever was and dumped the Merc 750's and changed the class name is run what you brung also. You talk about check book racing for your info. it cost 1/2 for SBI races what Merc charges to do a motor thats why we voted the way we did also we can inspect the motors now , again get your facts. Does any other orgin. know the specs on each motor racing, SBI does... Cu IN , compression , Drive Height, gear ratio, and exact weight of each boat , straps and prop ?? They even send us an email of the weight of every boat in our class in and out.

Everyone has an opion and likes things different then someone else and thats fine, but please stick to the fact not just BS if you want to through something out there thats fine but without facts its isnt going to stick to the wall.

Yes they raced OPA and OSS that yr and in the Worlds the issue with the Fly Wheel came up, but funny when the took it off fri and ran again Sunday same result they won.

Frank, your Fountain must really haul azz now because when Doc ran it in St Clair he ran side by side with us on the South straight. We were at 105mph and just barely pulling him. Very impressive for a stock 525 powered single vee.

Are you sure that was his race motor Lol ? Or one other numerous motors from one of his other boats, I think Lance even put up a bigger number was that with his race motor?
