Congrats to all running in KW. Steve, watching and listening from shore it sounded like you were the only one limited at 5400rpm. I assume you are running the stock 525 without the raised rev limit?

Merc spent tons of money and R&D on maximizing HP with reliability. 5450 RPM is where they will last for long WOT. Play the game of changing there product and pay the price !!!! Yes you can make more power but if you cant rebuild often then stick with stock.

BANDIT Vortec with 5600 limiter. In SbI The ECM is open so any RPM is legal. Our engine HP peaks at 5370 RPM. So turning it higher does little good. Based on audio from KW some of the other teams were 500 + RPM north of there in the harbor.

GREAT video, and the data on the screen is really neat to see. I saw 88mph flash a couple times, but the G-forces were what was the most brutal; that and watching you two bounce off various parts of the cockpit.

We use this on our Karts with router and apple interface works really slick! The crew get's 20 updates per lap live.

We are very happy with Racepak but are also adding this because it see's standard HUD data
