Just my $.02 for whatever that is worth..... surprised to see that they didn't go with the same motor packages for both Super Cat and this New class, if it's a spec class why is there still the 117mph limit, and that they eliminated cats out of the class??....

I just hope SBI sticks to its 8 classes and doesn't go backwards and makes a class for one or two boats that don't want to race against a non wallet class.
I guess its time to test gear ratios and props instead of just spending money on engines. Man it reminds me of my F2 days but a lot faster.
I'm proud of the balls SBI have to consolidate classes like they did with Superboat and Superboat Exteme!!!!!
If you haven't been spending money on race fuel and superchargers etc. please don't respond.
hey Brett would you guys be interested in trading your current power for the spec engines? i have a fresh set (wet sump) ready to go if you want to make a swap. ill even deliver and pick up the 1200's whenever the best time is for you. That way there is no money out of pocket for you guys or Billy since that is a concern for your team. Im sad to see SBI split the top class of V-bottoms but im not surprised. We sill stick with lucas oil and race unlimited if we decide to get abused by SBI next year. im serious about trading power. tell Billy to call me if hes interested

If any team is looking for an engine supplier for these engines give me a call. We've been looking to get involved in offshore.

Thanks,

Thanks Jim,

I'll give you a call this week and we can discuss a few things. Most of the classes are moving in the Carb direction so we need to re visit a few of the things we talked about a few months ago.

Hey frank, when do you'll think your going to post rules? Again not in it but just wondering when people will realize that carbs have gone backwards to super cat and super vee and how many people sold the carb motors for 25 cents on the dollar in a move to go forwards. Just curiosity thinking who else except pro stock who uses carbs? No really need to answer just another opinion that doesn't matter.

I still have my carb motors Jerry, Frank, How hard can you turn the motor? And how many ci can they be? Sounds cool. If there is a apba spec type head it will be hard to make 850. It will be fun to try.

About 3/4 throttle. That's about it.
