i was told by a bankbeaters team member that the 1st race in NO would settle the national title. mind you it was on bourbon street very early in the morning. if that info is correct, then bankbeaters won national and world titles in NO.

Thats like PLANETMAN winning National and World Titles. Looks impressive on your resume or on the mantle piece, but when no one else shows up.......

I have to voice my opinion on this. I do not blame any of the guys who did not show up because not only was the ECM's wrong so was their throttle bodies and injectors. Why would anyone want to race in an originization who lets cheaters win. It was wrong what John did and I expect to see less than 20 boats racing with him next year, not counting P class. I also understand that several of his workers are calling it quits.

Actually, Doug kelly told several people he was going to decline the National title but he didn't. I was at the Key West race as a spectator last week. It appeared as Bank Beaters was running in a differant (slower) class then Super cat light. By the end of the third lap he pulled out because he was so far behind. Incredible the differance in speed when using CRE sealed motors!
