Default APBA Worlds Eligibility

I was just going through some recent posts and read a post that sated that anyone could run in P-Class at the upcoming Worlds. Is this right? Even if the team has never raced and this would be their rookie start?

OK...Lets say I've got this old race boat and I want to dust off the cobwebs, clean the varnish out of the crab and meet you guys in Key West. What do I gotta do to go out and see who can kick me back up on the shore where I probably belong?

in the july rule revision p classes needed only one start in the same hull with the same driver and throttleman. check the apba sight and download the rules update.

Section 8, Rule 3, Subpart C

Outlaw Series Classes (Outlaw A, B, E, V and all Performance Classes)
In the Outlaw Series Classes, the registered hulls must have started in a minimum of one (1) APBA Pro-Series or APBA Divisional event in the same class in any Division prior to the World Championship event. The same driver and/or throttleman must have competed in the same boat in the same class in order to qualify the hull for the World Championship event.

You can still go and race without the starts. You just can't win the crown of world champion.
