The Daytona Chronciles

Well, at the time of this typing (Sunday morning) the APBA-site http://www.apba-offshore.com/news.cf...67&Action=view still shows F1-29 as second. Maybe I had too much sun. Or maybe they reconsidered.

By the way: If I’ve understood the new APBA rules correctly, then the last place in Daytona should only be a minor irritation for F1-29. The worst result in the Pro-Series can now be wiped out by taking part in a minor venue. So if Typhoon is last in Daytona and is first at the Podunk State Fair & Powerboat Races, then it’s as if they’ve won in Daytona. According to APBA, everybody wins with that rule: The lesser venues get the big names, and the big names get a chance to beautify their record.
