Thumbs down No race viewing from 7 mile bridge

According to an article in the "Keynoter", the 7 mile bridge is closed for "safety reasons", and will not be available for spectators to watch the race. Does anyone have any local knowledge of this?
Last year everyone loved viewing from there.

The bridge will be open and is one of the best places in the country to watch a race.

Heard they are going to open a bridge for the Tampa Race as well. That should make that one heck of an event also.

RG , i was just saying what a friend who lives there was telling me, not shooting the messanger. If that story holds true it should make for very intresting situation. i believe most people going there expect a birds eye view of the course which makes it one of the best for spectators.
