One of the rules of promoting your team is get to know your announcers, and make sure your announcers know you. Since we're a new team it was a safe bet that Martin and Dick knew zip about us. I emailed them bios of the team and received a great email from Dick saying in part that he wished all teams would send him bios because he and Martin WILL use the information when they're announcing the race. Martin made a point of finding our team in Marathon and interviewing us on camera. Would we have gotten that air time if the only thing he knew about us was we're a new team in F1? Probably not.

As Randy has said in several posts, the information has to be interesting in order to get the air time, and he's right. So if anyone would like me to help them write their bios please PM me. I'm happy to do this free of charge as we try to keep the interest level high for F1 racing. BTW - my background is 20+ years of marketing and I have a BA in English. I'm the Screamin' Eagle team member who stands on the shore radioing in positions and lap times. My better half is the one throttling.

Dont forget to send Freeze Frame info too... he uses it to narrate the race tapes....

LA Great suggestion on the bio. For a rookie team you get great coverage, keep the ideas coming.
