F1 & F2 owners meeting in Sarasota
We have heard that there will be a meeting at Innovation in Sarasota on Friday, August 22 of all the F1 owners to discuss engine options for next year. Look for more details in future posts. Great idea hey! Plan to attend to have an input. Also free bratwurst and a tour of their great shop says Dave.

Don't know any specifics about the F-1 meeting yet. Steve Miklos mentioned it in Milwaukee and we told him it sounded like a great idea. If all the F-1 owners would like to PM us your ideas we will post the results before SRQ. If there is no official meeting at Innovation, we should have one after the Friday drivers meeting. This won't be decided in one meeting anyway but it needs to get started so we can plan for next year. Let us have your ideas and we will share ours.

I vote 900 Merc poker run motors with # 6 drivers only in F1 and F2

We like the choice between 525merc or Vortec with the XR speedmaster drive. Its a solid package and prove in in racing. Drop the 350# weight and make all boats weigh the same in class at 4700 LBS. Less choices is better so there is less ex cusses.

At first we liked the 496 but we dont see it attracting any new blood. Have any of the P class people said they would commit if we did the 496?

I like that, Randy:
- HP525 or Vortec. That's it.
- XR with Sportmaster lower. That's it.
- Boats must weigh at least 4700 lbs. That's it.
Relax X-dim rules. Allow ITS. That provides a migration path to SV L.
