yourconscience, it sounds like your attacking SBI and I really like Bubba and SBI that is why I responded, as for me and my pleasure/race boat....it don't bother me, Kevin and I are having a great time. We were with a lot of our old friends(Gil Copeland who beat me in the worlds last year, stayed just because he found out we were coming) and many new friends. Maybe you should have been there to see first hand what a class production this was, and not to take ANYTHING AWAY from MIKE A. and APBA, they are just two completely different venues! I've ALWAYS said from the start, not too many people know what it takes to put on a race/show, you arrive with your boat and race but there is a hell of a lot more that meets the eye...I have found out first hand being on the Board Of Directors of OPA, It's not easy and I give a lot of credit to both SBI and APBA, so if there is someone who can do it better, by all means......take ALL the headaches and BS that goes with it. SNGLSTACK, We did indeed have a great time thanks to the people of Orange Beach and SBI. I'm a little shocked you didn't come up and introduce yourself, we weren't hard to find....I think we made enough noise. Next Time. Gotta go, have a great day. Augie

Augie,
I think we all agree with you in spades. It was good to see you there. What about those people? The fans, police and businesses could not do enough for us. See you in NYC.

Default Orange County Alabama

I think we have made our point that we will race anywhere, any time. No politics. Not going to get into the BS. All I have to say, is I have never, never, never been to a race site, that was more prepared for a race. We rolled into Orange County 2am Friday eve. Had no idea where I was going, all you had to do was follow the signs for miles. THUNDER ON THE GULF These signs were everywhere, Churches, toll plazas, taxis, etc. Every hotel for miles, Welcome Powerboaters, The partys, were hugh. Live Bait, remember that name if you go next year, most of all the people were so excited about the entire event. The spectator fleet lined the entire course ten boats deep. So many people came up to us afterwords, " That was the most awsome thing I have ever seen." Bob Oliver of Fire Water Racing, Talked us into making the trip down, And I want to thankyou. We had a great time. To the people who organized this event my hat is off to you. There was no stone unturned. Just a total effort by the Entire Community. I love this sport, I speak for our team when I say, we have made so many great friendships, no matter what Sanc. Body we run. Every time we go to another race. It is just so great to see everyone. Its the Racers that make the difference. Thank you to all Wazzup Racing

A great job is a great job is a great job.

No politics. No shenanigans. No BS.

True, true, true.

Says the guy who's initials are (in real life):

BS
