Bats out of hell: 90 mph in '04?
I'm picking up a scent that Chris "Bateau" Reindl is shopping for bigger power for his bats.
Observers in Southern Jersey have seen a bat flying close to 90 mph while torturing the rev limiter.
When asked, Chris Reindl only says: "I have big plans for the One Design class."
Wouldn't it be weird if the bats lap F1 in '04 ??
It would also be interesting to learn who supplies the engines. From what we hear, Chris hasn't signed the P.O. yet. All major players have a 6 or 7 liter engine that might fit.

Not too wierd of a thought out west. In our race in Pittsburg we only lost to one F1 (Team LaveyCraft) and the only reason they beat us was that we were propped to only run 79.9.
I assure you has we had our 32p on we would have beaten them as well.
Sorry Kevin and Dave, not taking smack, just sure the little boat that could, could if we were not limited.
When Chris finalizes his package for 2004 we most likely will make the change. If there are no other boats running on the west we will terrorize P3 as opposed to P4.

SVL would be fine by me, although if we ran a 525EFI (if it would fit) we would go much faster than 90 (my guess would be 100+).
It is possible, but not fair.
That is way to fast for the boat. It can do it (as Harry Clack showed at the SBI Worlds last year), but I am not sure the boat would stand up to it.
Can someone let me know why they think Chris has not sold more of these boats?
We love ours and could not imagine racing anything else at this time.
