St. Pete without Fastedy

100 miles down I95, en-route to St. Petersburg, Fastedy Simmons was recalled to attend an urgent family matter. Currently, it looks like Eddie Simmons won't be making the race.

Eddie called me to request that if possible we try to conference call him in on the F1/F2 meeting tomorrow. His 81 year old grandmother passed away. We'll miss him at St. Pete.

Thanks everyone,

My Grand mother lived a very Happy Full life, she wasn't ill or suffering any problems, she passed this morning in her sleep. I was really working hard to get to this race, working till 11:30 last knight and hit the road at 5:30 this morning. I Thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers and wish all a good and safe race weekend.
