I agree 100%!
The only thing is, I didn't start this thread so that it turns into a place for offshore racing to be bashed. I started it for a pat on the back for all the struggles going on behind the seens. This was a great victory to see the coverage on national cable TV! Who cares if it was bought and payed for from one perspective or another. Offshore Racing was televised yesterday. That was awesome!

Thanks Steve,Ray,Bat Girl,and even Too Old. The state of Alabama will probably have over 50,000 hits alone for the worlds and from some of the footage I've already seen there is a massive amount of air.One local guy brought me in a shot of my boat that scared me to look at.I can't wait to do it again!

That is great news about Speed and the TV Coverage I can't wait to see it. I hope that this means its back next year bigger and stronger.
As someone new to racing in 2001, I don't have deep pockets. I race by working very hard and on sponsors money. If we wan to grow in this sport we have to work together and be positive. Sponsors don't want to hear about all the BS with racing.
Too Old, I am sorry so feel so negative about the racers and racing. If you ever come to a race, come by and introduce yourself. I will take time out to answer any questions, you can look at the boat etc. I will even give you invites to the racers parties. I treat all my fans and sponsors with respect. I am sorry you were not treated well in the past.
I hope we get new fans as well as TV fans. Let 2004 be the best year yet!!
