Default Question for you P class racers

I have a question guys. How much speed are you willing to give up to increase acceleration. In other words, In P2 for instance if you have a 100mph rig would prop down to 95mph to improve punch out of the corner? Maybe 90mph. What would be an acceptable comprise?

In P class racing with GPS you better have a boat that can turn well and accelerate and hit the top speeds in the class - otherwise you are tost.

We are doing 24's this year for all P classes as well as One Design if anyone is interested.
