Well, sounds like an excuse to go to Key West, but it was nice to just drive down the street.

Will there be another race in Deerfield this tear?

Deerfield Beach will host the SBI National Championships. Great work Bubba.

Yes Deerfield will host the nationals in October I believe the 7-10th

I personally think the move to Key West is a good thing for everyone. In my opinion, it is where The Worlds should be. Hopefully all racers from all sanctioning bodies will join in for one of the biggest races ever!

This is it guys, if we all can't wind up in KW at the same time this year with the current state of affairs it will never happen. Bold move by John to move back to KW. Many racers always comment that he is happy with his 30 boat race. Well then why make this move. This one is on all of us, drop the issues pick up the phone and book the rooms. OPA has added another race to it's schedule - We are going to Key West!

2004 Schedule:
Brick,NJ - June 26,27
Atlantic City,NJ - July 18,19
Pt. Pleasant Beach, NJ - Aug. 12,13
L.I. / CONN. Area - Aug. 28,29
Cambridge, MD - Sept. 25,26
Delaware River Area - Oct. 9,10
Key West, Florida - Nov. 7 - 14 with SBI for the World Championships


Does this mean that the SOB's will be able to run under the OPA sanctioning in Key West???

Bubba is going to write a letter for Smitty and I to be excused from work, life, ect. so we can go to Key West a week early and volunteer our time to help make this one hell of event. Yeah, like we really need a letter, I'm ready to go NOW!!!!!!!!Smitty and I ALREADY have our rooms BOOKED! People.....book early, very early. Steve, is this great or what! Marc...WAZZZZZZZZZZZUUUP. So who's gonna dare come run with SBI??????? Ya may have a LITTLE FUN and MEET some great people.

We have a lot of great (solid) sites - some old, some new, and the Jersey Boyz idea of a great time follows through at every location.
Go to the SBI website and print out the schedule.
The competition starts in APRIL.....make your reservations for Miami.

No it's not.....Marathon is off of the schedule.

I live in Marathon and totally agree with John taking it off.

After living in Boston and NY for so many years, I know what your going through.
I have to explain to people in the Keys what "drifts, ice scrapers and tire chains" are. (and that stuff you spray in your lock to open your car door.) See, I've been there and done that.
We are going to have a great time this year......Bubba promises.
Get the chow wagon stocked up.....we're ready for some of that great food.
