Finally Some Great News.

Not to throw water on the news......but having two of three organizations agree to race one race together is hardly unification in my eyes.

A step in the right direction though.

This is not a bashing but I really think Bob Bull, Paul Whittier, and John Carbonell need to meet also. I absolutely applaud John and Paul for having their meeting already. Two events in Keywest only hurts one of the other events and if you do not believe that look to the past. Look to the past when there was last a unified World Championships. It can be done again and done year after year. Yes some might stay for both but most will not. Take your trash out and work this out to better the Sport. Do what all the Racers want. Unify the sport by having a unified World Championship. So that way there is not 100 different World Champions(a pet peeve of mine) in one year. Please everyone lets make this a reality instead of a bunch of words put on a message board by people that love the sport. I am stating all of this for the sport and have nothing to gain out of this except for a smile on my face and an event I have been waiting to see for a real long time.

Sounds like Bob Bull and John C. have indeed been in contact. Unfortunately it seems they couldn't find happy ground due to TV requirements.
From what I'm hearing, Bull is open to discussions is Carbonell wants to talk.
