Default What class are you running this year?

With all of the speculation/ rumors going around... lets put it to rest. What class do you intend to run this year? Please name your team, sanctioning bodies and the intended class for 2004......I'll start

Revolution Marine OPA/GLSCS/SBI P4
30' Phantom power unknown at this time.

This is a Good question. We are have trouble with this our selfs. Last year we ran APBA P5. This year we want to run OPA and some SBI, but the two sanctioning bodies differ in rules, so we do not know at this time what we are Cong to do.

The biggest problem we have is if we set the boat to run 80 mph in OPA with a GPS. we will not have much of a change in SBI with having to run a average speed in P4

Q, more than likely P-5, ultimately P-4.

High Priority, I believe that the OPA, SBI rules have come into alignment which will allow both groups to race together in KeyWest.

You should call Kurt at OPA 732 477 7400 to get a clearer understanding of OPA rules. I'm sure he's talked to John and can tell you of any difference between them.

See ya in Bricktown.

OSS national series:30' Phantom w/ merc 525.
Opa divisional series:32' Bad Boy Powerboat.

Q,
We went by Smitty's yesterday and saw your new ride. Are you going to put the third seat in the boat back?Get ready,I think the P4 class is going to be very competitive this year.Good luck.

Opa got a single engine rule for p-5 with a 65 mph top speed BUT SBI got just a average lap speed for p-5 with out the single motor rule.
