A press Release was just faxed out by SBI. that the SBI race dates are moved to the 14th thru the 21st.
Apparently, SBI agreed to change the date at the request of the Conch Republic Offshore Racing Association

Key West wants one world championship. Asked John If he would move his race to the following week to insure this. So you will have SBI OSS and OPA in the same week. How about the APBA , do this one for the racers

KEY WEST, Florida – March 3, 2004 – The Conch Republic Offshore Racing Association (CROPBRA) the promoter of the “Key West World Championship Race” has moved its race week to November 14 –21, 2004, races occurring on November 17th, 20th, and 21st.
“The change was made after discussions with representatives of the City of Key West, U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard and members of our Board representing the Chamber of Commerce, hotels, restaurants, and attractions”, said Bill Spottswood, president of CROPBRA.
“Super Boat International who has contracted with CROPBRA to sanction and conduct the race along with Offshore Super Series Powerboat Racing Association (OSS) will be happy to choose a date that fits best for CROPBRA and the community of Key West”, said John Carbonell, president of SBI.
SBIP and OSS individually will produce a number of offshore powerboat events in 2004. Go to the SBIP web site at www.superboat.com for a list its 2004 race schedule.

why would anyone who races in P class or Factory class want to race with OSS? they don't want us in there organization.
the only reason they teame up with SBI is so they could get another site. They have no interest in unification, they only care about themselves
