They were not banned, they told APBA they weren't going to race APBA events in 2004.

Re-rigged it to accommodate V12's (turbines also) until our new boat is finished which will run V12's as well.

You got me how?
I don't understand what happened anymore than you.
I thought ABPA was asked to do certain things for the teams that were boycotting. I thought those things were done, but it seems it didn't matter. The OSS was formed, I thought as a group of teams to give a united front for the racers, not as a competing sanctioning body. OSS had a chance to bring harmony to the sport,
and I believe they are succeeding in fracturing it further by only representing or including certain classes of racers. I am not in any office of power in APBA or any other sanctioning org. as some had suggested would happen after the smoke cleared from lawsuits. I would like to see all the race org. come together even if it's just for one race. I don't feel APBA should be the one making any more concessions as they have made the most changes already and are still going to pay the price of the mismanagement of one individual.

The sport has been torn apart from the inside. Let's look at it from an outsiders point of view and see the damage that is still being done, and by the people in the greatest position to make positive changes to bring the racers together. Money can give you power but if you let it drive your ego instead of your heart it's power without meaning to anyone but you and the followers of that money. There is a chance right now to make this sport bigger than it's ever been, to show the sponsors and fans that the racers are above all the back stabbing, hidden agenda's and lawsuits.

Just my $.02

Matthew

Well hell, wish I'd be rich. I'd buy myself one of them cats and race APBA. With everybody racing with them OSS boys, I'd be a guaranteed champ. Just a thought. Just a dream.

Why don't you race OSS? With one race scheduled so far, you could be the winner of the inaugural race, National Champion and World Champion and only put an hour on your raceboat.
