Default Testing With The Black Nutz, Day 1

Good Friday. Bay Pines Park. Testing day for the Black Nutz, the revamped Extreme that will be the home of Team Typhoon.

The Campbells, Louuuuuuuuu Ann and Allen, have dragged their Warlock all the way up from Sarasota to act as the pace boat for today's session.

They brought their new driver, Steven "Goulash" Kepecz. Goulash is the hottest realtor of greater Sarasota, and he's always on the phone.

Goulash is in for the duration. The Eagles even committed his name to print. Good luck, Eagles! (They'll be tearing up the SBI circuit this year.)

Turning a 31pitch Hydromotive, courtesy of Throttle-Up, the boat reaches 90 mph in a heartbeat.

The boat needs a little attitude adjustment, but the Nutz from Northern Jersey are used to that.

Out in the gulf, skipping across 3-4 footers, the boat shows amazing flight capabilities. Re-entry is pretty harmless on the spine.

Matt on the phone with Randy: "You'll be having a blast!"

Further testing is prevented by Mr. Guardian. He stops the boat. Matt of Throttle-Up throttled the boat today.

BS, who has been demoted to acting Crew Chief for the day, renders his diagnosis: "Shot alternator. Guardian at 11 Volts. He's right this time."
