Talk Offshore Live Race Webcast
#1
To all the people who put on the live webcast you did a fine job. This was a unique opportunity to tune in anywhere in the world to a play by play call of a very exciting webcast. Martin you did a great job calling it. It's amazing to be able to give live feedback to the announcer via the chat room during a web cast. Several times questions or comments were posted and you ask or answered them. Being interactive, gives depth to the entire experience. You play to a tough crowd. When we're bored, you know it. When your over the top interesting you know it. In many respects it's better than watching it on TV, although it seemed everyone was trying to find a live webcam to watch the race.
I'm sure this was no piece of cake to put on. It played very well and I appreciate all the effort put forth to make it happen. Looking forward to the next webcast.

Without our listeners TalkOffshore.com is nothing.
We still apologize for the tech problems during the first race but for Orange Beach Robin has been working her you know what off to get us the best place to broadcast.
Ok on to tonight............Jo and Pepe Nunez from Pantera boats on at 8:30pm EST and our second installment of Offshore Racing Recaps.
Tonight we hope to have some racers on that were in Biloxi and some that are getting ready for the Orange Beach "Thunder on the Bay" this weekend. Talkoffshore.com will be there to give you the play by play.
Don't forget to come to the chat room right here on OSO.
And as always keep the troops in mind that do what they do so that we can continue to do what we do. Bless them and their families for everything they do.
