Bring some boats up to Cape Cod this weekend. we will make provisions for you to race. Love to help you promote the class. Kurt from OPA will be there maybe the GLSCS and OPA can help you guys out. There are alot of old Velocity's and other cool single Outboard makes out there tht I'm sure would be interested in working with you.

Waterboy1 has a 22' Velocity Hull, all it needs is a motor. If someone has a motor, he'll throw in the hull and you guys can race together.

Kryptonite is tryng to put together a trio of 23 SOB's for Cambridge.

It will be a team effort with Ocean Outboard. We are checking everyone's schedules and membership status at this time.

If we can bring 3 boats who else is out there????

Bring it to FL, and I would consider putting a boat together, I can afford to build a boat, and go racing, but not travel all over the country to do it.

Rick, I believe APBA will let S.O.B's run as well. I'll run with ya as long as I can throttle and you don't jump out

Yup, APBA also adopted this class.

Looks like 5 entries so far. Lets get 10 or more so they can run in thier own race.

I'm sure Ted will be on here later but it's official, the race entry fee has been cut in half to $250 for the SOBs. However, they will not participate in the purse.

The CBPBA is willing to run the SOBs in a seperate race, with helicopter coverage and full water support, as long as 10 boats show up.

Otherwise, these boats will be able to run with the other boats and can choose to pay the full $500 entry fee and run in P5 or P4, OR pay the $250 and run against each other in the SOB class.

Two weeks to go, can we get 10 boats to show up in Cambride on 9/25 and 26?
