Extreme to debut open cockpit 29 at St. Pete OSS race
Mark Spates and Dave Warden of Extreme will debut their long awaited and much talked about open cockpit version of their nearly invincible canopied race boat. And they will debut it here in St. Pete, where it will stand out from the huge congregation of raceboats with a lid.
The open cockpoit 29 will arrive at the St. Pete OSS dry pits today, Friday.

Awesome. I can't wait to see the finished product. I've seen the complete hull and deck tooling at Mark's shop a little while ago, I'm sure the finished boat will speak for itself.

You let the cat out of the bag!!!!!! Whewwww I was being patient in not saying anything.
I looked at the boat and it is awesome. The work you cant see, the work that counts, is very detailed and quality.
My guess is a 496HO will be a great performer. Great ride, speed and rough water on modest power.... like it

Rum, the boat is going to the dry pits.
Peconic. Hate I missed you ... Had a commitment in Miami & Lauderdale with the Formula's.
I think dave is also gong to have the boat in Sarasota.

OK OK........ I didnt get to stay, due to commitments in South FL, to get the boat on the trailer the next day. We even set the 8 bunks over the phone with the tape measures on each end of the line. Kinda holding breath here in excitement to see the boat on the our Allison trailer....naturally <grin> and to see what I need to do to fine tune everything.
I agree on the 496. Still guessing an 80+ mph boat with that power.

Thanks for all the comments !!!! Bill, here's a better pic of the boat on the trailer. This trailer rocks !!!! NICE job and thanks again for helping us to the trailer finished in time. All I can say are good things of Bill and Hi -Tec Trailers. Here's a quick pic then i'm heading to bed. Please feel free to stop by the tent, we will be back down on Sunday. Dave Warden
