Just got off the phone with Smitty and Wazzup wins again!!!! He said the racing was fast and furious in P2. Augie apparently lost power comming around the last turn and took 3rd in P3. The original firewater team apparently put a hurting on the field in P1.

Ernie... Deerfield was the worlds...you dont get #1 from the worlds... it is from being national champions...

If you look at last years national champions they have the #1 .....i.e. Firewater is V1

Research this please,I think for SBI P-class a boat is awarded the #1 as a result of the World Championship which they regard as the National title.Example Tony's 38 last year was the National champion in Deerfield Beach,Fl.This was the way it was explain to us since there is no World Championship for P class.Let me know if this information is wrong.

If you go to www.superboat.com and click on the revised rulebook scroll to section 5 rule #8.... I would copy and paste but it will not let me.... basically it says the #1 is awarded in each class for the total accumulated points in a season. Rule #5 states the World Championships are not included in the regular season. I could be very wrong but that is how I am reading it???? Any experts out there that could clarify....F1-00 ya there????

You are correct Q ball the #1 is awarded to the National champ for that year.
