Good luck to all of you on the west coast.
I got that same storm up at my place in Boca, some tree limbs, and a few powerlines down this morning.

Winds are picking up a bit, but it is still sunny outside right now. Good Luck to you guys on the West Coast, if you need to escape, come on over we'll take care of ya'

Going Boating this weekend George??

We just had first feeder band, Altamonte Springs...Took about 5 minutes, next burst expected in 25 minutes....

Main eye now plotted just west of Orlando then going striaight up towards Jacksonville.

Most stores out of batteries.

Just reported accident on I-4 main highway rushing to clear lanes. Traffic was requested to be off major highways by 2-4pm.

The TV coverage reminds me of the major earthquakes I went through in Woodland Hills , Ca. EXCEPT..... there wa no warning for the quakes.

Thanks gdfatha. We were very fortunate to be spared by this, so now my good thoughts go out to those of you in central florida who were not expecting this.

My cable is out, my yard is over-watered, and that's about it from outside of Tampa here. At least I still have power. Folks in Ft. Myers, Cape Coral and Sarasota have none........something like 250K people without power in those areas.

My tthoughts and prayers go to those impacted to the south and north of us (I'm in Altamonte Springs)..

Lottsa wind and rain and we are still without power.

Sadly, the news reports two new named storms are forming..

Take care everyone
