If I knew you were going to attach your throttle box with sheet rock screws I would have backed "the other guy."

You would have taken him, next time come see me for some 1/2" stainless bolts.

Next time bring a roll of duct tape and tape the throttles to your leg

There is no doubt you would have beat John and Jerry even though it looked like they had the boat dialed in. I can't wait for the next match up.

At the start, Scott mistook us for an aircraft carrier, and tried to land on our deck. I didn't think we had enough room for a 24' Pantera in the boat. So I waved him off. Scott then tried to land on Firewater's deck and must have scared the hell out of him because Bob took off like a bat-out-a-hell for turn 1.
Scott was right behind us on the first lap, not bad for having to steer and throttle while holding the broken throttle box against the gunale with his knee in 4-6 footers. Once the throttle box got tangled into the steering wheel, he figured that was enough.
Big air, Big fun, Kean Racing Team, kickin' it old school.

I don't think I could have kept up the pace Bruce and Goumada ran even with out breaking. I sat at the start finish line and watched the rest of the race and they put on an impressive show as well as the rest of the class

I ran a 28 Skater at the St Pete worlds a few years back and on the second day (ROUGH) the throttle box came loose. Dave was holding the box with his left hand and throttling with his right. I was quite a ride! We finished the race though. If you can't through bolt it 5200 it.

This is some funny chit. I love the Aircraft carrier part. Maybe Scott should get some lessons landing from Allen Cambell. (ret. fighter pilot)
