We want to wish Auguie a fast recovery of his injuries today in the N.Y. race.Augie and Kevin took some big wave and stuffed the boat and Augie that only has one good leg because the other one is in a cast, fell down and had injuries to his face.I know he was back in the pits later on tonight feeling sore.We wanted to let everybody know what happened to him,although I am sure he is going to give us all better details on how that condo got so high.Get well soon Augie and Kevin.By the way it was a great race while it lasted.

Augie made it back to the pits so he could enjoy a Big OLE Salami and Mozz Sandwich. Hes in good spirits and has some really good pain killers. Im sure He'll still be in some pain for a couple of days. But, Hey...Chiks dig scars and Glory lasts forever. I guess that what he meant by that.

You say those pain killers only had a small effect on our Augie----the last time I saw a smile on his face like that when he got back to the pits last night was after he had mannnny vodkas at my wedding. Heal up my brother; see you in Cambridge.

WTF, Augie you are a true warrior of our sport my friend, a class act and a man without excuses, broken ankle all year and still you go out balls to the wall. I`m glad to hear you and Kevin are up and walking take care of the pains and scars that glory for you will last forever.

Thank God when Augie flew out from behind the wheel, he broke the keys off in the ignition, the maniac had stuffed a towel up in his helmet to absorb the blood, and was trying to restart the condo. Mumbling something about catching those CRAZY CUBANS!!!!!!!!! Heal soon my friend, cause the boat is ready to go to war.

Augie was nice enough to call me to try to help out my girlfriend last week when she was in New York. I had never met, spoken or conversed on OSO with him prior to that. I think his offer to help a total stranger says a lot about the guy! Get well soon, Augie.
