As many of you know, the P3-19 Cigarette was not able to start in Deerfield due to a slipping transmission discovered while testing Saturday afternoon. We worked through the night Saturday taking out the tranny and taking it to get re-built only to find all the parts were not available. Despite this being a huge dissapointment for me, I nonetheless had a great time at Deerfield with my team. We had a great trial run and learning experience. I was finally able to meet many of you who called me this past week cheering me on and giving me words of advise. I am sorry I was not able to get out there and compete against you, however I am grateful for all your help. From myself, Albert, Mike and Adrian, a sincere Thank You to :
Laz Mesa at Mesa Balancing
Marc (Lobsterboy) LaFleur
Mark Mathews
ScottB
Allen Christy
Greg Harris
Brian Jackson at Offshore Outdrives
Steve from Love Muscle
Pete from Love Muscle
Looking forward to Key West.

Mark, congratulations on the win. You guys really looked good out there yesterday. I watched from the pier. I got to Brian's shortly after you left. I saw your drive there getting ready for freshening. Thanks again for turning me on to Brian. He is a great guy and went the extra 10 miles Saturday night to get us back by the morning. Unfortunately, I needed all 10 plates and he didn't have enough there to make the tranny safe. He is an amazing fellow. I called him approx. 6 p.m. on the cell you gave me and he was home. I explained the situation and he said if he had enough plates he would have it done that evening. By the time I arrived at his shop, he had opened up the shop and allowed us to use his power tools; he even helped taking the tranny out! Thanks for reminding Tyler about the hatch to my boat. I would really appreciate having it.....while you're at it, remind him about the build sheet for my motors.
I am having the other side re-built as well as a precaution. Taking the boat there tomorrow. See you in KW.
Rick,
congrats on Scotty's win....he really looked impressive yesterday in the snot...to think he drives and throttles....I met his dad on the Pier yesterday. Couldn't miss the resemblence. Further congrats on joining his team.
Georges,
great meeting you and the Mrs.
